Earn your Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) Designation and serve clients with greater care, confidence, and expertise.

The SRES® Designation course prepares real estate professionals to better understand the unique needs of the growing 50+ market and help clients navigate important life transitions, including retirement, downsizing, aging in place, and changing housing needs.

Through practical strategies and real world guidance, you’ll explore retirement trends, housing options, financial and legal considerations, and effective communication techniques to help clients and their families make informed real estate decisions.

NAR Center for Realtor Development Instructor: Mark D. Worrilow

Mark is a retired naval officer and 27+ year career REALTOR®. Experienced in the classroom, he started his teaching career as an instructor in the Navy and followed on as an instructor and mentor for soccer referees. Over the last 19+ years he has been a licensed real estate instructor in pre-licensing, CE/PLE classes and NAR certifications and designations. In early 2022, he was asked by NAR to make a video with the NAR President and an executive from the VA on purchasing with VA loans. Additionally, he taught a national MRP class in October 2024 at the request of REBAC. His education philosophy is to make classes participatory in nature; encouraging discussion and avoiding just lecturing. Mark believes that classroom engagement by students allows for both a better learning environment and an opportunity to be a student himself. Mark is “Dad” to a 90+ pound german shepherd (Gibbs) as well as Gibb’s’ 2 cat brothers and husband to a wonderful wife (Kathy). Together, Mark and Kathy have 4 sons, 4 daughters-in-law and 8 grandchildren. When not instructing, mentoring or working with clients, he likes to read, cook and use his smoker and is also an expert in losing golf balls and fishing lures.
